In Gondolin, Egalmoth was the ruler of the House of the Heavenly Arch, with a rainbow-coloured crest, curved sword, and crystal-embroidered mantle that represented a whole other kind of Fabulous. Just when he'd perfected an exterior level of Awesome that matched the pride in his work and compatriots, the city fell and took most of his friends with it.
Now, his day job is overseeing the Traffic Regulatory & City Ordinances Council, which would be dull if he ignored investigative opportunities (he doesn't), interviews (you've got something interesting to say) or house calls (the actual best part of any assignment). No task is too big or small (as long as it's big) in the service of the King (if we can just avoid spiders this time). Off-duty you can find him warming a stool at card table, a couch at the metro lounge, or staying on a friend's couch for the sake of efficiency (just tell him where to find the steam iron for the wrinkles).
